With 300 knots per square inch on cotton foundation, the rug has been woven using the Persian knot. This knot allows for tight weaving that results in sharper, clearly defined rug design as well as improved longevity of the rug. The natural wool adds not only years to the rug, but also provides dirt-repellent qualities and thermal insulation. With a rich color palette, the rug is a visual delight with an inner field decked with curvilinear floral motifs and an opulent border.
