"What is the distance from the ceiling to the bottom of this light fixture? Is it adjustable?"
I am very pleased this arrived a lot sooner than expected. I am taking it to our new home tomorrow to have it installed into our new home. Inspection so far is great. And, it already comes with bulbs! I didn't even know that! Bonus! I am giving 4 stars since it has not been installed yet to see it all lit up. Very pleased. :)

GORGEOUS!! Hung it over our very large island (12' L x 5' W) which is traditional in style and it worked out beautifully to put just the right amount of modern/industrial look in our kitchen! I love this lamp. The only thing I would say, make sure you have high ceilings. It makes the room hot if not high enough. I had to unscrew a few of the bulbs to not roast!

It's a beautiful light But you can feel the heat coming off the bulbs I guess because is so many of them It comes with 4 rods on each side so you can determine the height that you want they screw together you can use 1,2,3 or 4 of them

This light looks amazing! The bulbs get very hot though, which has been a little bit of a problem since we installed it next to our thermostat in the dining room, so it interferes with our house temp. We are still pleased with the purchase though

The pictured Edison bulbs are recommended, however you can use any type of bulb with an E27 type socket.

"How do you hide the wires where the two rings are at the top? It doesn't look like there is a way. Do they have to be slightly exposed before they go into the canopy?"

Rings are black and ceiling white so black and white wires kinda blend in. They are definitely visible, probably the only design flaw, but not that noticeable. You have to look for them. Every person who sees this fixture say they love it, your eyes are drawn to the lights and not the ceiling attachment.

Yes I think it will work with a slope, the rings allow for angle. Ceiling to top of frame is 19" , and 31" to bottom of frame so you need that much height overhead. I would not recommend trying to change length of the hangers.
