Bed is really nice and fits in the decor perfectly. It was somewhat easy to put together but definitely takes 2 people. The toughest part for my husband was all the screws that are not pre drilled and you can't use a power screwdriver. We liked it so much we ordered another one for our other house.
I bought two of these, one espresso and one cherry. The finish on both is very handsome and doesn't advertise the fact that it's mid-grade wood. Assembly is a bit involved with lots of steps and requires a few tools like a mallet to drive in pegs. I also advise using glue on the many dowels as that adds a lot of strength. The instructions don't require it but I also drilled pilot holes for scr3w locations that didn't come pre drilled to avoid splitting wood. Finally one of the key bolts was missing from my package but it was an easy hardware store replacement. Overall despite the minor assembly hassles I do like this bed a lot and even bought a third one from the same line.
This bed has been off gassing for days. Smells awful. Looks nice but gives me a headache
It came well-packed with good instructions and all the required hardware. It was fairly easy to assemble and is quite sturdy due to the wooden slats and supports. It's a nice-looking piece of furniture although the actual finish is not as saturated or rich as the online photos. It's a bit lighter. If you like dark furniture, don't select walnut. Otherwise, it's a nice sturdy bed.
I really like this bed. All solid wood that you don't see anymore unless you pay a lot for it. The price was good the quality. Instructions were pretty good and detailed step by step. I would of gave it a 5 star but it had a hairline fracture on the top of the headboard in the back. Unnoticeable and only cosmetic is why I didn't return it. Overall we love the bed.
This product was packaged very well and arrived without any damage. The bed is lovely, however it has been a nightmare to put together. The holes were not lined up properly and instructions could not be followed. I have to hire a carpenter to re-drill holes and put it together for me. It was not a bargain for me. Hopefully, this is not a common problem. I would return but my helper threw the packaging away.
Great quality, the fabric is amazing. The color is very calming. Not the best comfortable to sleep on, but looks great on the bed. I would use it for decor purposes mostly.
One year in and all the wood on the headboard is warped and coming unscrewed.
Very impressed with the quality of this bed for the price. Very easy to assemble and very sturdy.
I first bought the same one in Espresso, like it so much bought another in Walnut color for my other room. Very sturdy solid wood bed at a great price. Looks great! Easy to assemble. Highly recommend!
