I ordered the cream color. I was thrilled to see it was a light linen color, the color I had wanted and not an off white as the pictured depicted, although an off white would have been my second choice. This bed is beautiful, well made and easy to put together. The fabric has a natural linen look and the button tufting is well done. I put this bed together mostly by myself. My daughter came in to assist me when the rails were being inserted. I probably could have done this alone but much easier and quicker to have an extra hand here. It took me an hour from start to finish. I admit I'm handy and am always the one to put things together around here. My husband is at a loss for this sort of thing. The directions are pretty straight forward but if you've never done this before look at the pictures closely so the lock rings and washers are put on the screws correctly. Study the directions and group all the parts to make sure they are all there before starting. This will make it easier when you get to assembly. All screws lined up correctly, if they seem off, try taking the screw out and trying again, this fixed the problem when I ran into it. I used a screw driver with a hex bit for most of the bed but used the hex bit included to put on the legs. As you put each section together don't drive the screws in all the way till all of them are most of the way in, this will insure all the screws go in straight. If you haven't done this before just be patient and allow yourself more time. If this sixty year old 110 gramma can do it, so can you. I'm including a photo but I'm still shopping for bedding so no judging.

Thought I would leave a review to help others when wanting to purchase this bed. It was really hard to order a bed online without seeing it in person, but Im happy I did! Its beautiful! Looks way more expensive then the $$$ I paid for it. Also it is sturdy enough for two, I weigh 120lbs and my boyfriend is 162lbs. Also, another note. When looking on overstock this version requires a boxspring. When you see the same exact bed that says Platform, that comes with the slate system. Great bed for a great buy! Very happy with the purchase.

I got the regular grey linen bed in the queen size-- the color is darker than I expected from the photo. However, it is a very nice and sturdy bed frame. I like to step on the side of the bed when going on/off the bed since my bed is high with the box spring on top of this bed frame. The only thing I do not like about this bed, which someone has mentioned before, is that the headboard is not completely secure. No matter how much we tighten it, it still wobbles a little when shaken-- my infant daughter likes to stand and shake the headboard and it moves a little. Also, our headboard is not flushed against the wall because our baseboard is a little thick, so it is easier to shake this. Otherwise, we love the bed and design of the headboard. We use a queen size mattress and box spring in this bed-- I would not advise not using a box spring because the mattress would be too flushed into the frame itself and I would imagine it not being comfortable...

Sturdy and Classy
Love this bed! It is SO nice! I love this so much and it looks classy and is strong and sturdy. It was easy to put together. My son and I did it on our own in less than an hour. Have had it now for a month and can say it's really nice and worth the money!

Bed frame
This frame is perfect for my space and bed. I have an adjustable Temperpedic bed which really ahs its own frame but have owned it now for many years. It was hard to find a bed frame with headboard which will fit around my temperpedic frame withouf impeding the functionality of the matress. This is perfect. I didnot need the cross board its very sturdy and well constructed. It has just enough room around the frame so the heavy quilt I have on the bed can be tucked in and the bed looks very manicured!!
