Great bed, better customer service
I purchased this bed for my daughter with the hopes that it'll last for the next 10 years. I initially looked for an antique wrought iron bed, but they're a) expensive, hard to find and heavy, and b) may have lead paint. This seemed like a great compromise. The bed arrived packaged very well and was relatively easy to put together. Once we had it assembled, we discovered that some of the paint was already chipping off one of the footboard posts. Pretty minor, but enough that I felt like I should point it out to Inspire Q -- especially considering this was going to be a bed that was used daily. I tracked the company down via Facebook and was so impressed. I submitted a message at 11 p.m. and had a response by 11:30 p.m. I then sent my claim to their customer service department and worked one-to-one with a rep who's sending me a replacement footboard. I wouldn't have expected this level of service for something bought via a third party like Overstock, but that's what I got. The rest of the bed is very solid and the paint appears well-adhered. I think ours was just an anomaly.

OK Bed but not iron
The bed arrived UPS in 3 days from Oakland CA to Henderson NV so far so good...the 2 boxes didn't weigh much. Opened and all hardware was accounted for (not heavy duty, but OK - required Allan wrench provided) would prefer regular or Phillips, but since this was made in China, I understood. Color was white with a few tan smudges perhaps to give the bed an antique look. Tubing was a medium gauge steel, definitely not iron, and where the tubing was curved, it seemed a bit flattened (but not flat) out, showing the bending process used, unlike a real iron bed. In defense, a iron bed like this one would cost double and weigh twice as much. Finally, the headboard came in a top section which sat into 2 front legs. One of the legs had the holes drilled upside down, but I drilled the correct holes through the steel tubing and was able to make it work OK. All in all, an OK bed for the price I paid, fairly straight forward assembly instructions, and really looks like a more expensive old time iron bed.

Nice looking bed
Much easier to put together with two people. The queen frame is several inches longer than the mattress. Would prefer one inch more clearance under the bed.

Not very stable
We've had the bed for 3 weeks and the middle stabilization leg has already broken. We are using this bed in our guest room so we had one person sleep on it for one night and it is already rickety. Unfortunately, this bed was a disappointment.

Broken Bed
My daughter slept on this bed for two weeks and the slat came apart. Overstock wanted me to pack it all up and return it rather than just sending me the part to fix it or partially refunding it. There is no way I'm breaking the bed down and trying to package it for shipping. Annoying. This is the second defective bed I have received from them. Last time I order furniture.

I previously reviewed this purchase before I set it up, and now I truly regret buying it. IT IS UNSAFE. DO NOT BUY IT. The mattress collapses off the frame with the slightest movement. There is no way I would take the ibsurance risk having guests sleep on this. I'm going to have to bring in a welder or someone to add to it so the box spring and mattress do not fall off and cause people to crash to the floor. I should have known the low price was too good to be true. Again, I urge you to not get this bed!
