  • Love mine!

I'm here because I was looking for this grill to buy for a gift. I've had mine for over five years and cook waffles on it regularly, I've never had a problem, the waffles cook evenly. The unit still looks brand new. No complaints.

  • George Foreman GRP90WGR Next Grilleration Electric

This is a flashy, attractive small appliance. However, after the very first use, at med. heat, the gloss on the lid just disappeared - the center of the lid, where the top heat element is located is still bright red, but a matte finish now. Also, the heating elements, both top and bottom just heat an oblong area in the centers of the plates - while this isn't too bad for waffles, one cannot cook nice pancakes on it, unless just cooking one at a time in the center, and that defeats the whole purpose of a stand-alone griddle - might as well just use a frying pan. One of the biggest 'selling points' of this grill is that it cooks faster and all the grease drains out...well, while the grease does drain because of the slope, the lid is so very heavy that it also cooks out every drop of juice from the meat, leaving it tough and dry as a bone, even if its internal temp. indicates 'medium'. It is certainly not something to use on, say, a nice rib eye steak! Nor anything of a non-uniform thickness. I am extremely disappointed in this appliance and will not recommend it to anyone.
