really nice canvas art, we're going to put it in our living room. anyone looking at this picture will feel relaxed and happy. A nice addition to our house.
This is a gorgeous piece of art. Great color intensity. Sturdy frame for the canvas. The canvas is thick and feels sturdy. A wonderful piece for people who love Maxfield Parrish.
I would like to send it back————quality is very, very, very poor!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wish I had paid a little more closely to the picture. The image is wrapped around the frame . It cuts off the image. This is a terrible piece of art work.
Wanted a warm-toned Parrish print for redecorated bedroom. The illustration is beautiful and intricate. Unfortunately the printing is not crisp, and the finish is matte. (As compared to an expensive, high quality giclee I have of another Parrish print.) The size is odd and will have to be custom framed, which will no doubt cost many times the price of the art itself! Great price is comparable to a boring mass-produced piece in a discount home store- I'd rather have this Parrish on my wall. Given the low price, I'd say it's a good value. It's just not intended to be the showpiece of the room, as a Parrish often would be.
this work is entitled "THE GARDEN OF ALLAH" and was originally used for the lid of a box of chocolates. Maxfield Parrish is still the #1 selling American artist.
This was my first purchase on Overstock. I was thrilled. They didn't try to sell me a bunch of extra stuff that I wasn't looking for; they stayed with the product I wanted. I swear the FedEx/UPS guy was hiding in the bushes in front of my house with the art, because it seemed like I no sooner ordered the item and it showed up at my door. I am very pleased with my Overstock experience, and I will use Overstock again.
