The eccentric coloring of the Galicia design is reminiscent of the vivid colors appreciated in the Iberian Peninsula region, the namesake of the design. When Nicolas first started working with Portuguese and Spanish artisan ceramics in the 90s, he was dumbstruck by the vibrant, exuberant culture of the people he met and the gorgeous landscapes and charming villages of their homeland.
The warm, open and welcoming culture of the Iberian Region appealed to the core of his own nature, and he knew he had to capture those feelings in a form he could share with the world. Thus the Galicia Collection was born.
