I needed a new futon for my daughter's stay. I have mission style furniture in my house so this fit the bill. I thought it came with drawers that go under the frame (apparently it did not). I thought I bought the darker finish. I did not. I wanted to wire springs for the mattress as I had a 30 year old futon with wooden slats and that was tough to sleep on. It took 3.5 hours to put it together (hubby and daughter). It was NOT easy. It is functioning well but I hate looking at the wire frame (mission wood is the arms only). I looked for a bed skirt for the front of the futon with no luck. I am now going to see if there really are storage drawers that fit underneath. The functionality is great. The only reason is has 4 stars is the difficulty in putting the thing together.
Looks exactly as expected in my new Mid -Century Modern room. Just 1 tip & "Overstock.com" recommends this, I just didn't listen. Make sure u have ample space 2 fold product out AND have 2 people to put it 2gether...unless ur a young person in their 20's or 30's. It's not that it's heavy, it's that 1 side will come down while putting legs on the other. My ankle got caught, took almost 10 min 2 get out & had a bruise a good 3 inches up from my ankle. So be careful, but enjoy ur couch/futon!
I ordered this mattress to replace one that I already had and was worn out. The mattress is nice, but it definitely is not 10 inches thick! I received it on Friday and the package said that it would expand to the full 10 inches within 24 -48 hrs however, it has been almost 5 days later and it only is just under 7 inches thick. I am happy to have a new futon mattress and the price was good. But you definitely need to change the advertisement to a 7inch mattress.
