Queen sizing great for tall overnight guests, and true to color mocha. One metal frame part bent, but manufacturer promptly sent replacement with a phone call. The two wooden ends do not match up evenly when fully assembled ... about six inches difference on right and left side, which seems odd. This due to how screw holes were drilled. Assembly required takes a little more skill, effort and time. The mattress is not as thick as advertised, even after time to expand after shipping, but it is still comfortable. I do not find it easy to flatten this futon from seated to recline position. Perhaps oiling it would help. It takes 2 people for me to get it into recline. Having a hard time finding fitted sheets or queen futon cover to fit queen size. Standard queen bed sheets are different measurements. But it is exactly what I needed for rustic style and long queen length and useful as both sofa or bed, so even though some problem issues, it still was a good purchase for our needs.
I put the futon together without a problem and they are top quality,And they are very comfortable.I highly recemend them for any one,we have a log cabin home andthe fit the house well.
Picked up Futon for our cabin. The futon mattress was excellent quality, it is thick and seems like it will be comfortable to sleep on. It was almost too thick to sit well as a couch, we ended up switching out for a thinner mattress and used it as a more permanent laid out one. the frame itself is a little underwhelming. The log arms are split in places like prior reviews said and they seemed to be small to me, so this is not a big statement piece if that is what you are looking for. It was not easy to put together but we were happy with the speed of delivery, the price seemed good,
The wood ends look great and fit the decor of my barn living quarters with knotty pine ceiling and walls. The frame needs to have a center brace bar. With the heavy futon on it is almost impossible for one person to open or fold and the front brace tries to bend. Assembly was not too bad, I did it alone and am female well over 55. Just start and remove each screw from pieces before putting together to make sure holes are open. I even kept each screw with the hole it started. A small screwdriver will help to align holes. Do not tighten brace screws until all are in. I did not have help to align ends-a bit of a bugger --- it would have been much easier with help. The splendor futon is innerspring and --very heavy, not flexible, very firm. Don't think I would do it again--a more flexible futon would be better esp for opening and closing the futon. Mechanism work great with no futon on it just a real problem with the futon. Only 3 stars because of the frame--all else good.
