I bought as an extra stool and pop off Color in a man cave. It's cute, but not sure my husband likes much "cute"in his bar. Not sure that is trust it as a stool as it's extremity lightweight, but works fine as a footstool when needed.
This footstool is a conversation piece. My husband definitely hated them cause he's a guy but every single person who has seen them thinks they are so neat. Obviously they work well as foot stools too.
I bought these stools to go in my bar, which I decorated rustic chic with tools and items from our family farm. These stools are no joke - they are heavy and sturdy! The powder coating is the perfect finish for the rustic theme. I like that you get to select the height of the footrest - I'm 5'2" so my feet usually dangle on bar stools, but I was able to put the footrest just a bit higher so my feet actually rest on the footrest. And the seat is adjustable, as well. My stools are sitting on a slate tile floor, but I would be warned if you're going to put these are hardwood. The stools are HEAVY and there's really no way to attach a pad to the bottom; felt pads have very little surface area to adhere to, as the base of the foot is not solid (I'm sure it was hollowed out to alleviate some weight from the cast iron base)
