I'm not a big fan of microfiber but I guess that will be more durable than some of the pretty fabric ones I seen. Anyways, I was purchasing this for the storage function to go in a walk in closet.
This chair is just beautiful. It was easy to put together and it is very comfortable. I will never be sorry I bought it. It adds a bright spot in a room with all brown microfiber furniture.
This recliner is not as large or plush as an $1200 name-brand recliner and I did not expect it to be. But it is very comfy. The cushions are soft but supportive. The chair is covered in microfiber where it counts: the areas in contact with your body. The arm rests are at the right height and nicely padded. The footrest is covered in vinyl, not microfiber, which makes sense to me because it would be easy to keep clean. It goes together easily. The seat base is one piece; the back is in three segments: the central portion that supports your back which has rails that slide into the base, and the two bolsters on either side of the base that slide into tracks on the side of the center portion. I shopped many other recliners in this price range and a bit higher. I think this chair is the best value.
The material is my biggest complaint. It's like a microfiber, not very luxurious. The assembly was not easy, as I had to drill some of my own holes to get it all together. The storage is nice to have and the top opens nicely. Doesn't feel very sturdy. Kinda cheap looking in person.
