The Harper Blvd Espresso Bench is a small and cute piece of furniture which fits nicely in our foyer. All is good except for the baskets: they are very rough to the touch, and the little iron parts that hold the bottom in place are not straight and flush with the base of the baskets. They scratch the wood surface of the shelves. I had to buy myself new and better baskets.
Metal portion is fair enough.. however the "wood" [sawdust] seat is cheap looking/feeling with a roughly applied veneer. Trust me, MUCH better off with the Harper Blvd stool for a few more bucks. Glad I picked that up for my study and had it to compare the difference real time.
As with the Harper Blvd Laird, this too was nice quality, easy to put together (it took 2 of us), and lots of heavy wood. I like the granite better on this one than the Laird as it has specks in it.
