I was torn how many stars to give these, as there is nothing blue about them whatsoever, they are green! I went to Ashley furniture to look at these chairs in person before I purchased to make sure they were what I wanted-- and as I remember they were a shade of blue. These chairs are green plain and simple. Even the areas where you put the chairs together the paint that was used for the first coat is as green as an apple! Then they distressed it on top so it is very muted. I think I may actually take the one chair I put together and compare it to the one at Ashley to see if it is the lighting or if this is a bad batch of chairs! I decorated my whole room around having a sort of teal/robins egg type blue color, not green so I am very disappointed to say the least. I just cannot decide whether to keep them and live with it or not. They look fabulous with my handmade farmhouse table, just not the distressed buffet I got with blue undertones or any of the curtains or accessories! Additionally they didn't send one whole set of 2 chairs, I think they have it in their system wrong that more than 2 chairs can come in a box. That took quite a bit of convincing to customer service that the only way they come is in a box of 2. He tried to tell me I had a box of 4 even though I already opened them! I have only put one chair together and already found a faulty piece. So, if I do keep them I will have to get replacement parts as well. Not a great experience so far. Bottom line, if you want rustic green tinted chairs, then definitely go for it! Blue...not so much! If I compare them with the Ashley chairs I will update!
