  • Good modern dining set

I bought this over a year ago at a local furniture store in MA for only $349 on a floor model sale. It happened to be in perfect condition so I got very lucky. Find this to be wildly overpriced here. As far as quality, yes the chair padding is thin but the chairs are sturdy even though they are very lightweight. Table is very good - the glass is thick and when you fully tighten the screws at the ends of the legs the table is extremely sturdy. The table won't even move a quarter inch. I have a tiny apartment and this was a great addition for a sleek, modern dining set that I could feel proud to show people. Try to find it locally for a lower price though.

  • Glass Table

This table is very solid and good looking. The vinyl chairs have good design but feel cheap because the padding is thin. If the chair material were cloth or leather with nice padding, this would be an outstanding dining set. I'm keeping this set because it looks so good, but I will modify the chair padding and material.

this was not my first choice when I was looking for a dining set for my new pad. on the day that i'm gonna order, i saw this set and it made me change my mind as order this instead. the assembly is not as hard as i thought. i did them all by myself. now my pad is complete and this set compliments my black furniture and white dining set nutralizes my new pad.

  • Customer service exceeds "delivery company"
    Verified Purchase

We would be happier except for a couple things. First off, the color and quality are quite acceptable. The problem was first with delivery and a minor secondary problem that the manufacturer only sent hardware for (3) chairs when there's four to assemble. The delivery issue was that "Ceva" contacted me said they would be delivering on Friday between Noon and 3:00 PM. They said if there is a problem they would let me know before 9:00 AM. Well, there was a problem and they didn't advise me of it until 15 minutes after Noon. They said the product didn't arrive and they didn't know when they would be delivering it. I called customer service and Overstock dot com's rep advocated and told me it would be Monday or Tuesday but which ever day it was they ABSOLUTELY would call in advance to let me know. (I live in a high-rise condo). On Monday, the front desk of my condo building calls and says "There's a furniture delivery here for you". No call, no advance time to prepare. Good for Jethro, maybe...not good for me. Takes a little of the "glamor" off the beautiful product. (If made in China wasn't already bad enough).
