This was just what I needed . Easy to put together, looks good too
It took me a couple weeks to try to put this together because of the business in my life. I was so excited when I finally got to it and then that bubble was burst really rapidly. This product should be sold at somewhere like **** for $*. It's s cheap pressboard, the concept of holding these pieces together with a type of screw and dowels that are an inch long maybe 2 inches long. Pieces don't stay once they have been seated. T he drawers are wobbly. I had to reinforce them before moving forward. This was before I totally gave up on this. it's a piece of crap Don't waste your money.
Shipment was just delayed a day...however it was worth the wait. I took me 2 1/2hours to assemble it by myself. It is a very nice addition to my small townhome. Needed extra space to store wine glasses, electric wine opener and an electric hand blender. The cabinet drawers were not tall enough to store wine bottles though, drawer measurements were off.
This item was great! I used it as a coffee bar. The only drawback was the putting together- needed heavier hardware. I had to use the coverup stickers, as well!
We had a space in our kitchen we weren't quite sure what to do with. This piece is the perfect fit. It's small, and can be used for multiple purposes, which is great. We have two stools and use it for a seating area in our kitchen for a cup of coffee. The extra storage is great as well.
This cabinet looks nice and fills my need, but isn't perfect. It arrived in good solid packaging. Took my boyfriend and I about an hour and a half to assemble, but there are a couple issues. The front and back panels (with the X decoration) are poorly glued together and the backing piece fell out of both almost immediately. We had to glue them back in before we could continue with assembly. Luckily we have wood glue on hand because the little bottle that's included is only for attaching the wooden pegs during construction. One plus: they did include a tiny bottle of wood glue. I haven't received that with any furniture I've assembled before and it was appreciated. But I digress. The internal shelving unit is not attached to the outer cabinet in any way. This means that every time I pull out the shelves they don't come out straight and the things scrape against each other. Highly annoying. The shelf portion also doesn't pull out very far. This means I have to contort myself a bit to reach anything in the back of the shelves. (In my pictures it shows the shelved section pulled all the way out) On the plus side the cabinet is large enough to hold all my baking supplies, and the additional counter space provided by unfolding the top is appreciated. My only gripe there is that the cabinet must remain open when the counter is unfolded if you want any kind of stability. If the shelf portion is pushed in and the top is unfolded then the entire thing wobbles dreadfully. Overall: not a bad cabinet, but we're not thrilled with it.
This arrived yesterday and was together in less than an hour! I LOVE It. It matches my room exactly, and is everything I was looking for. The buffet will be very useful for the holiday season, and family parties. I'm so glad I found this.
