It would be more effective if the rack was taller to allow more air to circulate between layers. Double-stacked food is not as crispy compared to when it is cooked in a single layer. Helps to spread food out as much as possible on the top layer to increase air circulation, but that means you don't increase your cooking capacity very much.
We had to send the first one back as the fan was inoperative however since we've gotten the new one it gets used 2 to 3 times a week and has been a serious time saver in food prep and clean up is rather easy as well. Keep in mind to wipe the top and element down after each use. Or you maybe very disappointed when you realize how much grease has caked up on there it's hard to clean later and even harder to take apart.
The air fryer is a great value. I use it almost daily. I air fryer everything from poultry to steak to veggies. They come out perfect. My 14 year old uses it for hot dogs and they are like grilled hotdogs. I purschased a rack and I can air fry two thich top loin steaks at once. I love it.
