I was looking for a beautiful set of dishes that were simple and classic for a beach house. When my kids were younger we would walk the beach and collect sea glass. The recycled glass of these plates reminds me of those moments. As a consumer who is concerned about how products are made, these are perfect. Plus they are stunning!!! Clear glass but you can see the faint bluish-green when they are stacked in the cabinet together. I absolutely love them. Only downside is a few of the plates were just slightly (very, very slight - most people wouldn't even notice) larger than the others, which adds to the character and uniqueness. The bowls are a little small for cereal or salads.
