Do you need extra ice?
This icemaker does everything advertised to do. Do you need ice and I for fast efficient manner, don't hesitate to purchase. Whether it is making small ice cubes in six minutes, medium in about 10, or large in 14 minutes you will not be disappointed. Within an hour of operation the icemaker will have a full basket full for use and or disbursement into a cooler, ice bag etc. There are A couple things you should know prior to purchasing. The unit is a little loud in operation when the compressor runs and the ice drops into the basket, but this is to be expected with any sort of ice making device. Also, you will want to add approximately 1 to 2 tablespoons of vinegar to the first reservoir full of water to ensure cleaning of all the internal tubing otherwise you will wind up with some awful tasting eyes initially. If you are aware of these two issues,/concerns, you will not be disappointed at all. It wonderful looking, highly functional, and supremely efficient way of getting the extra ice that we all need.
