decided to purchase this flush chandelier to go with its sister flush mount for my hallway AND WOW... the black metal with the faux crystals...really sparkles. Easy to install, a lot to assemble - the faux crystals have a delicate metal clasp that easily unhooks, so piece by piece we bent and tightened each one.
I installed this chandelier in the area outside our master shower during a recent remodel. It's perfect: The price was much more reasonable than other similar light fixtures, it was easy to assemble (though it took some time), and it is just the right size and light output for the space. For assembly, all the glass "drops" need to be put on one by one. I managed not to break any during the process, although if I had, some extras were included in the package. Some things to know before you buy: The bulb style it takes is the kind with a narrow threaded part and a "candle-y" bulb. The light it casts (see second photo) is broken up by the glass "drops." (Note that I did a faux finish on the ceiling above the fixture; don't worry, the light fixture won't make your ceiling look like that.) In the first photo the light fixture is turned off.
I was not quite sure what I'd be getting with this fixture but it looked nice in the photo. It is actually nicer when you hang it up...with sparling light through the 'faux' crystals.
