Great looking floor lamp, especially for the price. Mine came with the shade dented in two places and we did not realize it until the lights were turned on. It looks like as if the shade was dirty. I tried to play around with positioning of the lamp so I can turn that part against the wall and hide it but it did not work. So I decided to contact the customer service and few minutes later I was told that it will be replaced at no additional cost to me and lamp with damaged shade will get picked up. That’s some customer service! Thank you overstock! And one more thing, color of the shade is being described as white but it’s somewhat beige or yellow looking when you turn the light on but it doesn’t really take away from its looks . And would be nice if it would come with a bulb
I first bought this lamp in 2015. Looked good, worked well, and didn't take any attention from anything else in the room - it blended with the decor. Recently turned the room into an office and needed more lighting. I bought another one Sept 2017. Assembled it in another room - Out of the box, noticed the plate is slightly different and the shade looked more white - brighter. The 2015 version is an off white. Since the lamps would be on opposite sides of the room figured changes wouldn't be noticeable. Moved lamp into the office and plugged it in. Ugh. This new version of the lamp's shade is super white when turned on and gives off a horrible bright uncomfortable light. Additionally now that I have a new lamp, it is apparent that the 2015 acrylic is yellowing. This happens to a lot of acrylic decor so not a surprise but lesson is to buy a pair of lamps at the same time so they age the same. The 2015 lamp base looks dirty in comparison to the new lamp. (The room doesn't get much direct light.). Keeping the new lamp - had tossed the packing material before turning it on. I plan to look for a new shade to see if that helps the situation with the brightness.
