This flatware is top quality. The design is excellent. The finish is very nice and it has a nice heavy weight to it. It balances well in your hand. The knife blades are not serrated and they are sharp. It doesn't get much better than this. I ordered a service for 12 and I am going to order some more.
My husband and I got this silverware 11 years ago when we got married as a wedding gift. Now that we have 2 kids that are using this silverware instead of the "baby" silverware we were going through the 8 pieces quickly, leaving me with a lot of dishes to have to do so we would have silverware. I decided to try and find some more of the same kind. From the picture they were exactly the same pattern as what we had. I really only needed the spoons but ended up having to order the entire set because no one sold these separately. If I compare these to my old set they are a little different. They are wider and a little bigger than my old set. However, the pattern is exactly the same. They don't seem to weigh any more than the old ones which is nice. In my dishwasher, my silverware holder has the top on it that lets you put each piece in a slot to keep them separated. The knives are too fat to fit in it but the rest fit. If I were to have purchased these without having the old set to compare to I would be completely happy with them. They are durable, elegant and light enough that my kids can use. Well, all but the knives. They are pretty long and a little on the heavy side...but I don't let my kids use the knives anyways so it is not an issue. Overall, I would recommend these!
I needed some inexpensive silverware for using when we eat outside or for outdoor entertaining. I didn't want to use my top quality flatware outside because it often gets dropped. This silverware is a good weight. It feels solid in your hands and the fork tines don't bend easily like some lighter weight sets. The knife is sharp enough for most steak/meats and the spoons are also a comfortable size. As is always the case with any silverware, especially inexpensive silverware...rinse well before putting into the dishwasher or wash immediately. Certain foods will stain and pit the stainless steel. Following these rules will keep your silverware looking great for years to come.
