This set of flatware is replacing some really cheap 10 for $1 flatware that I purchased from walmart years ago, so it is an improvement. The finish is nice, the design is simple. It is not heavy by any means. The lack of weight is what makes it feel of less quality. The steak knives are also lightweight with plastic handles. Overall, the set looks nice, and it's not worth the pain to send it back. You get what you pay for!
When I was looking for flatware I had very specific criteria I was looking for. I found an Oneida set that was over $200 and for everyday use I didn't want to spend that much. So glad I found this! It matches that set almost identical. Nice squared handles, pieces are heavy and never bend. Does not rust and holds up perfectly in the dishwasher. Mirror shine and no scratching! The only thing is I wish the teaspoons were a little larger. These are kind of small. Definitely recommend.
I like the pattern on the handles a lot. They look similar to the blacksmith pattern of Villeroy & Boch flatware, and even better with the rounded shape at the end, making it smooth to hold. Very nice flatware set, solid but not too heavy.
