This was among the lowest prices for the product I found online. The fire bowl is pretty small, so don't expect to burn big logs and have huge fires. You need those smaller, kindling-like logs. I've only used it once, for a couple hours with small wood. The directions do say that if the fire gets too hot, the metal can melt and discolor. So if you are looking for a decent chiminea for small, attractive fires with a modern-flair, I would recommend this. If you want something to use daily for many years, I'd wait and splurge on something really sturdy.
We are very happy with this purchase. It's a beautiful natural looking fireplace that goes perfectly with our furniture in the backyard. I recommend a cover or harsh weather and rain.
Honestly I bought this because I just LOVED the name of it and with my wine expertise I was convinced when I saw the chiminea itself. Heavy duty and has wonderful designs that look like someone really put their heart into. LOVE! May just buy another :)
