The faucet looks exactly as pictured. I'm a confident DIYer, so I didn't find installation too daunting during my bathroom remodeling. I had a plumber come out and he quoted $800 to fix my bathtub so I decided to push up my own sleeves and bite the bullet with redoing my own plumbing. I have a really unique, old cast iron tub that simply didn't work with any stock faucets in my local hardware stores so I ended up finding this and fell in love with the aesthetic of it and was super happy to see it worked with my tub's clearances. So with $20 of additional parts (including some much needed cut-off valves) and this faucet, my tub was brought back to life and usefulness. I didn't personally find the install too difficult but I also measured everything beforehand and knew what would fit and what modifications I would need for my specific tub. I absolutely LOVE the waterfall look and feel, it's like a bit of a spa in your own home. I did ding it one star because the hot and cold aren't marked and my guests, for whatever reason, seem to routinely have trouble figuring out how to turn it and the shower on (which is its own separate unit), so the handles are sometimes twisted off in their confusion -- easy fix, but it would be nice if the confusion was avoided all together. I've had the faucet for a year and 9 months as of right now and it still works flawlessly and hasn't had any leaks or dripping issues.
This is really a beautiful faucet and my husband found it easy to install. Cleans easily and with the vessel sink it is important that the faucet is easily turned off and you can do it with just your elbow if you mount it to the side of the sink like we did.
After owning this for almost 2 years, I can say it's a very heavy duty piece. The only draw back was the little handle fell off and we can't get any replacement parts for the product. So the faucet is always on HIGH speed. but other than that, it's great
