Poor instructions , flimsy materials

I originally paid to have the bed assembled when it arrived here, but was told there was no one who could assemble it where I lived on the receipt, even though the charge for assembling it was not deducted so I had to cancel the order and reorder it. The bed arrived in 4 boxes, which I was expecting. What I wasn't expecting is that the parts of the bed were packed in no particular order which made setting up the materials to pack it take almost 2 hours. The instructions were the worst I have ever come across for assembling furniture in over 50 years. The materials were not inexpensive, they were cheap and flimsy. Since I was paying professionals out of pocket to assemble it, it would have been more expensive for me to have them take what they had done apart, repackaged the parts, and return it to this store. I bought a 1" thick piece of plywood, had it cut to fit the inside of the bed so my matress witth me on it would not fall through the slats sold with the bed. I expected a lot better quality from Bed, Bath & Beyond for the amount I paid.
