Like drying with a burlap sack - DO NOT BUY

These towels are worthless. They felt soft enough still in the package, but after I laundered them (following the instructions on the tag) they turned into non-absorbant, stiff pieces of fabric that do nothing more than move the water around. Pictures: a wet glass mug after drying with this towel while counting to 20; the wet countertop after drying (also a 20 count); the towel post-laundering, after stretching it to try to soften it a bit. These towels are not even good enough to be shop rags. I'm so disappointed: I thought I was ordering the same lovely and super-absorbant BB&B waffle towels I had previously purchased. Nope.
