Color not true to photo
Product Option: 50 X 84 - Java
The photos make these look like a much more interesting shade of brown than they are. I thought they would be a medium-brown with hints of gray, but they were straight-up chocolate brown, like a Hershey's bar, making them look cheap. The fabric however doesn't seem cheap. It's thick and heavy and the velvet looks fine quality (not the thin, ultra-shiny type). Also be warned that the back is lined with a white black-out fabric that looks unfinished from the outside of your window.

Nice Curtains
Product Option: 50 X 96 - Java
I have purchases many velvet curtains from Overstock and they are usually great but these weren't my favorite. They are nice but not as thick and plush as the others.

Blackout Curtains Work Great!
Product Option: 50 X 84 - Java
These blackout curtains work really well in blocking the light from outside our bedroom, and my husband was very pleased. However, being a seamstress, I found flaw with the stitching of two of the four panels purchased. The top fabric, or front of the curtains, was puckered along both vertical side seams. This is usually caused by stretching one of the two fabrics, either the liner or the velvet fabric. Other than this visual defect, the curtains are very nice.
