Great quality product I must buy!
The lip around the plate decreases the area. Wish these were a bit longer to accommodate a soup and salad plate. I wanted to use these for my jambalaya parties, but they are too small for a bowl, salad and garlic bread.
The two stars is for the price only. I found these exact plates from another vendor for half the price. I looked for these plates for days. And after I purchased these plates from Overstock, I found them for a lot cheaper. Don't you just hate that? But anyway, the quality of these plates was just what I was looking. I received my product within three days. Overstock packaging was great. I love the edges on the plate which prevent your food from spilling off the plate. I love the rectangular shape of my plates. These plates are more a square/ rectangular shape. Which is exactly what I was looking for. I love these plates so much that I order a second set from the other vendor.
Quality and trendy, just a bit slippery. Clean well in dishwasher and can be used as tray with bowl of soup/salad and bread on side. I like them and glad I purchased!
I have always wanted rectangle plates, mostly because we often eat off a tray in the living room and round just doesn't work well. I purchased 12 of these as I hope to use them for the holidays. They are certainly are nice in appearance will set a nice table. I really love that the stack nice in the cabinet and dishwasher too! Very pleased.
Good quality love them! Presentation is everything. I have been looking all over for these plates and got them for one third of the price on overstock
Love the shape size and quality. The little lip around the plates is perfect to keep food from flying off the edge but doesn't waste any food space!
These plates are so cool there like a microwave TV dinner but the meat out of high quality glass that won't break and it has raised edges so nothing spills off the
Maybe you haven't thought this through, but the SIZE of your dinner plates dramatically influences how often you have to run your dishwasher. You have some big old junky CIRCULAR dishes and you can't even fit two across in your dishwasher. That's INEFFICIENT! You then have to run your dishwasher twice as often! These plates are awesome because you can fit two in each row in a standard dishwasher- you can now go the week without running your dishwasher. AND they'll fit nicely in your cabinet too. And hey, these plates are otherwise strong, good looking and modern. The only downside is these are pricey, and if you DO happen to drop them on the floor, getting replacements can be hard as stock has been sketchy between here and the manufacturers site.
I love these dishes.. They are so nice to use under my round patterned dishes. I can stack three courses and a salad bowl now, which makes serving so much easier.
