Solid colors/not different shades like picture

I'll rate it three stars because it's pretty but can't give it five because it's nothing like what the picture depicts. It's a solid blue where the picture shows different shades of blue.

This pillow is made from a velvet fabric, folded edges placed in a chevron pattern. It is very soft, and not stuffed too firmly. There are small stitches holding the folds in place and giving a added design feature to the pillow. The velvet sheen gives off various shades of blue because of light, yet the fabric is solid color. Great choice for my sofa.

These pillow covers are very soft and comfortable velvet. They do have slight variation in the deep blue color of the pillow but that only adds beauty and interest. The pillows are as pictured.

This was a good buy, they feel nice and are pretty close to the picture color. I recommend buying a 22x22 or even 23x23 pillow insert as it is harder to fill the corners for the fuller look.

No color variation in person

I am giving this three stays only because the photo looks as if there are variations of blue in the pillow, but it is in fact, one, solid shade of blue, and more of a navy than what you see here. The pillow cover is nice quality, and soft, so I will probably keep it, but if you are drawn to the color variation as I was, it does not exist.

Good quality velvet and it's a nice navy color as expected. The velvet is all the same consistent color, how the light hits it is how you see lighter and darker tones in the product image. The stitching on the velvet is crafted well.
