The entertainment center is great. We had to put it together but the directions were easy to follow and the quality of this product was great so it made it an easy project. We love how it looks and functions.
At first when I read the dimensions, I thought that the cabinet couldn't be THAT small, but in fact, it is. I am using this as a media cabinet just to hold a cable box and hide CDs behind the doors, so without a flat screen sitting on top of it, it appears too short for the room. Nonetheless, be advised that this is a cool looking piece, but the wood is unfinished, so if you expected a varnish and shine, you'll have to apply it yourself. It is just stained wood, that is all, (not in the rustic, cool kind of way, but in the rough, this-is-going-to-be-dust-magnet kind of way). But it arrived VERY well packed, and despite a few small nicks at the bottom of the doors (which are the push-in-on-hidden-magnetized-closures type, so easy to open), looks just fine. FYI, I was just looking on the site, and it appears that this is also being sold as the Aurelle Mid Century Entertainment unit, in a lighter stain (same dimensions), for five hundred dollars more! I waited for this for MONTHS, so I won't be returning it, but think I may remove the legs (SUPER easy to install - just 6 screws/washers with a supplied allen wrench) and mount this on the wall. This has a dark walnut stain, so it matches my (actually nicely finished walnut) shelves above it.
