I like my new Elina Modern and Contemporary Platform Storage Bed with Shelves. It came in good condition and assembling them was a breeze for me. We liked the bed (feels a very sturdy and solid product) Highly recommend it to anyone looking for king size.
This bed came with 2 large pieces scratched/chipped. We got those pieces replaced and finally started to assemble it. We then found that the company included 2 pieces that were queen size for our king bed, so they were too short (the long wooden pieces that hold up the slats) so we reached out, they sent us 1 replacement piece when we said we needed 2. We reached out for the third time to get the second replacement piece and finally we got the bed together. This thing kills your shins/ankles every time you get out of bed because of the sharp wood edges. It's also pretty low to to the ground, which we didnt mind. Lastly, the side pieces that connect to the headboard are entirely a different wood shade / pattern and look ridiculous when attached to the headboard, so we didn't even bother. It sucks because now the side edges of the headboard are unfinished, but even still that looks better than the mismatched wood side panels. Also, because of the design of the side edge pieces with the 3 shelves, I was worried we would easily hit our head on one of the sharp edges of the shelves because theyre right there, so that was another reason we opted not to install them. OVERALL 0/5 stars. Terrible experience, terrible design, terrible look. Would return if we could but we're past our return date after all of the replacement parts fiasco. Horrible purchase.
Beautiful bed! Easy instructions, too. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because assembly was complicated because of engineering mistakes. some of the holes were not fully routed and many of the threaded inserts were not aligned properly.
