I find it very straight forward and easy to use. Everything worked as it should and it looked brand new. I bought this because our vacation home doesn't allow grills. So I bought 2 ribeyes, 1" thick and decided to try. Very ample room to get 4 of this steaks on there if you open it all the way. I decided to cook with it open, thinking how would I tell the doneness if the lid was down. If I did it again, I would use it closed because after your first sear, its not hot enough to immediately sear again...but with it closed it does. It did put a sear on the steaks. This in no way tastes like a grilled steak, but I was able to keep them medium-rare. I think doing chicken and paninis will be alright. I have more steaks and I will grill them again because that is what I have to work with. Montreal seasoning helped. I also bought the extra warranty because I figured if it goes wrong, I just lost $100, and I saved money anyway buying it refurbished.
great for single person, you cook just what you need you don't need a lot of oil heats fast easy to store and clean up I love it for when I want anything deep fried this little gut is the best money I ever spent
