Provides a smooth surface for my Thatsit kneeling chair, which otherwise would catch on the grout lines of my tile floors. Unlike plastic mats, this looks nice.
This chair mat is absolutely perfect for my plush carpet. It provides a nice solid surface to roll my chair around and is an extra large size which provides plenty of room for adjustment in front of my desk. The bamboo also looks very nice and matches my bamboo desk giving a perfect matching aesthetic. I would definitely recommend this for mat for anyone looking for a good looking and robust chair mat.

This is the second Eco Bamboo chair mat I've purchased. The first is still in great shape after 2 years of use in my home office where I work full time; I bought this larger one just because I'm planning a new layout with 2 computers on separate desks. These are so much better than typical plastic mats.
Nice. Chair rolls easily but mat tends to splinter after about a year.
Purchased three of these bamboo "mats" as a functional design element in my enclosed patio—they are much nicer than the rugs they replaced! They are well made and seem to be holding up to simple (dry) foot traffic.
I've had this for a couple of weeks now and it seems durable and much more attractive than the *** plastic *** mat I was using. I use it on a thick pile carpet in my home office and I would absolutely suggest keeping your old plastic chair mat as a base on thicker carpets to firm up the ride. The large 4'x6' size works very well for rolling back and forth to the printer ... I don't fall off the mat anymore! It seems spendy at *** but it's well worth it, except my GF wants one now!
