  • Best fan ever

I hate ceiling fans, so this fan was a compromise between my husband's need for air circulation in the bedroom and my need to not have a ceiling fan. I highly recommend this fan. It's relatively low sound (create a white noise effect). It's not too ugly. And I have little kids, so its great not having to worry about their fingers in the blades. The remote control has a magnet so it adheres to the side of the fan and does not get lost. I might prefer a different color, but this was pretty subtle. Best fan ever made!!

  • This fan does not come on at all

Ordered fan refurbished, but obviously, the technicians did not do a thorough inspection. Now get to play the game of return shipping. Disappointed!!

  • Stunning!

Wow! I have always wanted one if these but the retail price was beyond my capacity for rational thought! $200 shipped still gave me pause but I can say sitting here looking at this glorious piece of engineering; I regret nothing! I haven't messed around with any other tower fans but my box and pedestal fan experience Is deed and I will tell you Dyson nailed this thing! Airflow is smooth, operation is quiet comparatively, and the oscillation is better than anything I've ever seen. It has a higher pitch since it spins much faster but compared to my old box fan it's whisper quiet. Remote is handy as is the magnetic storage on top. The base is metal and feels sturdy. Also because the turbine is in the base weight is minimal and distributed to the bottom so it's easy to move but impossible to knock over. Very minor initial complains. The top 'air multiplier' required more force than I thought I'd need to twist on. Not really a CON but I was afraid I was going to break it. Also the cord is crazy thick! They should consider a right angle plug as I'm sure many people will have outlets that do not have the required 6" of clearance. Like I said, minor issues. Overall I'm way too excited about a fan and you will be too!
