Let me tell you, it's no fun putting this one together and what fun it is to discover halfway through that they didn't give you four of the necessary pieces to put it all the way together and then left out a few of the tools and hardware they said were included, i.e. allen wrench and 20 small nails. So if you have lots of time and love this sort of thing, then perhaps this is your dream dresser. I feel I could have picked something up nicer and used in the same price range on craigslist. The "metal" part on the bottom is a joke, it's poorly painted pieces of wood. Once my other slats arrive, I will not be attaching the bottom "metal part", prefer the height and look without. I have really bad overstock luck recently it seems. Damaged item, defective item, now this item with missing essential parts. These experiences will make me reconsider buying cheap furniture online again. Not worth my time or the hassle.
the dresser looks really nice but it's quality was fair. all the holes matched up very well, but we were missing a few pieces of hardware. had to make due. it would have been nice to have it made a bit sturdier, having front pieces of wood between the drawers.
Overall the dresser is quite nice. The varying wood tones make it easy to coordinate with. The construction quality is decent - it is mostly MDF but still looks nice and is quite sturdy. The piece was also pretty straightforward to assemble (thought it will take a couple hours) and comes with plenty of spare hardware. The main con would be that it is on the smaller side for a dresser. The skinnier drawers also don't slide in and out as smoothly as I would like (I think partially because they are a bit flimsy). Our piece also came with several visual blemishes on some of the side panels and the top, but we were in desperate need of a dresser so we just kept it.
