Chest looks great and very sturdy and heavy. Putting it together was not too difficult but it does take a while. I did it myself except I have not put the media top on yet because I have an old TV that is very large and heavy. It is very heavy, so I had to unpack it and take it upstairs in pieces. The directions are a little odd when it tells you to put the drawers in, although you haven't put them together yet. Just skip the step and come back to it. To finish attaching the top, there are two screws that are screwed in from the underside, in the top drawer opening. You need a screwdriver that is less than 5" and you have to make sure they get screwed in tight as they are unfortunately round head screws instead of flat screws. I didn't realize they were not tight enough, so when I put the drawers in, the top drawer caught and I didn't know why. I pushed it in and out a few times trying to determine where it was catching. Then I realized it was catching on the two screws and unfortunately at that point I had put two scratches on the top of the drawer front. Kind of disappointed about that. Once it is all put together you can adjust the drawer fronts so that they are centered in the hole. It is a little tricky, but its a nice option to have especially for that top drawer to avoid the screws. One of my drawer fronts was not originally put together great and the adjustment screws were off so I couldn't adjust the front. I emailed the company and they shipped me a new one. GREAT customer service. All of the boxes I received had their phone and email address on them. It also has a strap that is attached to the chest and then can be anchored to the wall to avoid tipping when drawers are pulled out.
