Bought this beautiful door but never got to use it because the glass very very heavy. I could anchor one side to the stud in the wall but unfortunately the studs in the wall done exactly line up and I don't trust the dry wall is strong enough to hold it up. Now I am in the market for a new shower door...something to consider before buying!

These doors are beautifully made, easy to install and easy to care for. The quality compares to or excels anything I found at the local big-box stores and was $1000 less, arriving in half the estimated time. I could not be happier!

Great product. Requires good skills to install, but good instruction and everything very good quality. I will recommend it to anybody. I wish the size of the moving panel will be different to allow wider entry opening to the shower.

Really nice looking product. Installed myself, was not to difficult to install, but I am mechanically inclined. I plan on ordering another for the next shower renovation

  • Looks great! But...

So, for the new shower stall that we constructed I wanted a nice glass shower door that didn't have a bunch of tracks to collect mold/mildew. Because of the space we had it really HAD to be a sliding door as opposed to the "Euros" or swing doors. Really like the look of this door and the directions were pretty easy to follow making the installation fairly straight forward. They do tell you to have the door professionally installed and I would not suggest anything else. However, a do it "yourselfer" may be successful installing this door. The reason for the 4 star rating instead of 5 and the "BUTS" in this review are that once installed, because of the tubular track and the guide block, there is a 1 1/2 inch gap between the stationary glass and the glass door. They provide "sweeps" or splash guards that will probably do the trick I just don't like how they look. For that matter, I am not a huge fan of the great big gap either. Another thing I am disappointed with is the Guide block. The block is a little over 2 1/2 inches long. Our shower base where this block needed to go is only 1 3/4 inches. FORTUNATELY we were still able to mount the block with the mounting screws. BUT, the block is hanging 3/4 inches over the shower base inside the shower. It is not a huge deal, but cosmetically, one that I was not expecting. I don't think it will cause any problems for us I just wish that I would have realized the width of this assembly once hung (approx. 2 1/2"). Overall it still looks great! I just felt like these minor issues should be pointed out so that others would be a little better prepared than I was. I still believe that we will enjoy this product more than anything else we could have purchased I just wish I would have been a little more prepared for "The Gap"! One final piece of advice for my fellow DIY'ers... Its not a must, just a suggestion. Plan for your shower door install while "framing" your shower. Then you can have something solid to secure your shower door hardware to. I would have preferred that to just using anchors through the tile and wallboard.
