Truth is- I hate this shower door- no fault of the manufacturer. It looks nice and I was not misled by the description in any way. A designer talked me into this "half" shower door (more of a European style) as I wanted to avoid ugly shower tracks along the tub and we thought it would be easier to bathe young children. (which- in effect- it is). But, it's very open and the heat dissipates quickly as there's nothing to contain it--leaving a much colder/exposed shower experience. We added a shower curtain to cover and enclose the rear section. That helps. Also the rubber/silicon gasket along the bottom cracked quickly-probably from the opening and closing of it too often. which was necessary to bathe kids. it's still attached but really needs to be replaced. Again- if you like this half- door style and are OK with short, cooler showers, then this is probably fine, practical and neat. otherwise I would suggest researching a full "track-less" shower door which are manufactured today and offer full coverage.
This is exactly what we needed for our guest bathroom! It's a small space and this tub door opens up the room and makes it appear larger. This is well made and the price was incredible. It was much more expensive at our local "Home D*$%#" store. We purchased the matte black trim and it looks so rich!
I have loved having this instead of a shower curtain or sliding doors! Really opens up my bathroom, and no moldy shower curtain! It is very easy to keep clean as well. I have several friends who have bought these because they liked mine, and I am about to order another because I am moving!
Simple, but perfect. It was easy to assemble and looks great. It changed the way our spare bathroom looked. Great purchase.
Works great. Be mindful of the height. If the tub you attach it to is very low, the height of the shower door is lower than your head while you are showering. If you are under 6 feet tall, no problem. But even if you are 6'2" the water does not splash onto the floor. I've never had shower water get outside the tub onto the floor. Door swings both ways. Do not hold onto the door for support.
As always never disappoints...This is a great brand sturdy and looks fabulous! I have used these several times in all of our properties.. so they get a lot of wear and tear. Good product.
Eh. Water gets past the open area pretty consistently. There's really not a whole lot to this door - not worth the $$.
The door is beautiful, and it's well packaged, so it will arrive in one piece. The instructions are clear. I would definitely order this glass door again.
The door was easy to install and looks nice in my renovated bathroom.
