I am using this folding door on my bathroom linen closet. It looks good and blends in well w/the white woodwork. The folds are small and don't take up a lot of room which is good because this is not a big bathroom. The hardware for closing the door completely was missing and I'll have to install something like magnets to get it to shut or figure out something else.
The overall craftsmanship of the door is very good yet the problem was that the door panels were not secured enough to stop the scratching of the frosted plastic squares. Also, one other frosted plastic square on another panel had a long scratch on it. Both were very pronounced and took the look away from the folding doors. If the Manufacturer secured the door panels better to where they do not move during shipment from Germany to the US to me, we may have kept them.
Our wood pocket door to the john was not functioning and we eventually will re-do the entire bathroom so did not want to spend money to repair the pocket door - got this as a temporary remedy. It is a tad bit too long so we had to try and file down the bottom so it does not rub the floor. The accordion folds are thick vinyl and slide into the frames, and they can pull away more easily that we would like. You have to be gentle when opening and closing. We may end up having to spend money on a better made product if we delay renovation a while. May be better for a room that is not accessed frequently. It was fairly easy to install.
