I've ordered these hinges for almost every door in my house my husband hates installing them because the. Hinges are thicker than a standard hinge however I love their authentic look I have them in antique brass pewter and oil rubbed bronze some of the hinges my husband had to use different screws the screws that come with them are too soft . Almost everyone else sells a pair instead of three hinges .
We bought these because we replaced all our old brass light fixtures and door knobs with shiny chrome. It's an old house, so it needed a little sparkle. We thought these and painting the old doors would help freshen up and add a modern touch. THEY DID! We were so glad, as satin nickel tends to look yellow after a while.
I used these hinges on new 20 inch closet doors. They added a nice decorative touch. The screws were inconsistent -- smaller and larger heads, and some phillips, some slotted. Out of 8 hinges (24 screws) I sheered off 3 screws. You might also note that the hinges are NOT flush-mount. And they are NOT the pin-style, so you have to unscrew the hinge to remove the door for any reason. Made in India.
