The extra 7 inches extends the space in between bunks to 28 inches, which is plenty of room for many adults to sit up.
The Discobed U clip design fits snugly between bunks, simply sliding and clipping into place. The powder coated steel is rust resistant, helpful for outdoor equipment.
These extensions are compatible with all recent Disc O Bed systems, except for the Kid O Bunk.
