Beautiful and very sturdy.. You have to be careful cleaning it, not sure what would be best to clean it with. It looks beautiful and perfect size for my not so big dinning room.
While this table does not work for its intended purpose, it is working as an excellent extra desk, which I needed for spreading out my editing projects. I had wanted it as a smaller dining table--it was being sold as a dining table--in my cottage, but it's too small for even two smaller dining chairs to fit under it side-by-side, or even across from each other. If you're looking for a dining table, look elsewhere. If you want a lovely, if on the pricey side for it, desk, or a gorgeous console table, then you will like it. It is an elegant curve of thick glass and I like it very much even if it didn't work as a dining table.
Most tables that extend are wider (36" to 40" inches wide) and my dining area is only 8' wide. I wanted to be able accommodate up to 6 or 8 people on occasions. So I bought two of these tables and combined them by removing a leaf from each table and joining the tops together with the hinges from the drop leafs I removed. Now I have a 29.5" wide x 55" long table that easily extends to 74" long when the leafs on each end are raised. Perfect solution for less than *** Table has a nice heavy weight, looks nice and it is much easier to get around.
