The table and chairs were well packed and protected, but two of the chairs sustained minor wood chips on the upper part of the backrests...nothing that can't be touched up with a wood touch-up pen. Other than that, I am very pleased with the dark, rich wood and powder coated vein-grey metal frames of both the table and chairs. You might need some help assembling the chairs, as it can be kind of tricky, but I received more than enough screws/nuts and washers, and an Allen wrench with each chair. Oh, and you will need a small power drill to screw the seat bottoms to the frame. There's no way a hand-held screwdriver can drive in the screws, and there are no pre-drilled holes for the seat bottoms, so make sure you have them aligned, and use a small cordless drill to do the job. That's where another person comes in handy...to hold the seat bottom in-place.
Really cute - small-ish, stylish. I had to get thick cushions for the seats and the straight back is not comfy. They work well enough in my rental. I am basically pleased. Oh, one other note, when we put the chairs together, the holes were not drilled in the right place for the seat to fasten to the back. We figured it out.
