I was on the fence about this table because I've never purchased such a large piece online before, and it was new to overstock without any reviews yet. Let me tell you I am so glad I went for it. It is solid wood, heavy and well made. When I saw in the box it was made in India like most rustic tables from brand name stores with names like pottery and Market in them, (of which we have several pieces from) I knew it was a good table. The table has light shades of brown that go so well with my gold mirror in the room. The table also has some cream distressing here and there and definitely some grey that coordinates perfectly with my dining room chairs that also have grey. The surface is slightly rough, but not too distressed to the point crumbs would get trapped. It is the perfect size for our 6 chairs with room to spare, although I would not suggest more than 6 chairs. I just can't say enough about it. See my pics below!
These chairs are as pictured. The blue is pretty accurate. I was hoping for more of a navy/darker tone, but they are as shown. 2 minor issues: - the chair seats are narrow, and with the back attached, it could be uncomfortable - speaking of attaching the back... I had to bend the arms to match up with the bolt holes. Not a huge problem, but just be aware. Also, the chair has a distressed finish, and the bolts are bright chrome. It kind of ruins the look. I bought these for use at a counter bar, but will end up putting them outside on the patio instead as they don't match my decor as well as expected, but I still like them.
