I ordered the dark chair to go with an wrought iron table I already had. I get lots of compliments on the chairs. They are comfy and have held up in the rain and sun so far.
These chairs look great, are very sturdy and will look good with any black decor. I added them to a group of rod iron furniture and it's an awesome look
I got these two summers ago for my porch. What I like is the styling. With the sort of fancy pads I put on them and with the limestone top (wrought iron base) table, the setting looks very "French" bistro -- just the sort of whimsy I wanted. However, the chairs are not comfortable for a large or heavy person. While we haven't had any collapse on us, they don't feel substantial enough. I've used them for two years so definitely feel as if I've gotten my money's worth.
I really like this furniture; it's substantial for aluminum and ready-to-assemble pieces. There are white caps to cover the exposed screws when assembled and we hope this will prevent rust. We ordered these two chairs to go with a set that included a round table and four chairs. Every arm of every chair came with paint gouges in one spot where they packers did not adequately cushion them. After many emails back and forth, during which they said they would try to find replacement pieces, Overstock offered us either replacement pieces or a partial refund; our choice. Since we like the pieces and thought we can get the paint repaired, we opted for a partial refund. Now we're enjoying furniture that looks like wrought iron without the weight or cost of wrought iron.
