Color is a touch darker than I anticipated--I got Caribbean blue and it's more teal--but it's sturdy, comfortable, and beautiful. I use it as my desk chair/lounge chair as I live in a small studio. I get lots of compliments on this new addition to my home.
This is the fourth wishbone chair (reproduction made for Baxton Studio) I have purchased. The are solid hardwood (beech I believe) and look well made. However, I must say that one of my earlier purchases was not glued properly at the horizontal leg braces. It flexes when sat upon. The genuine article with a brass serial number tag costs over $800!
The backs of these chairs are shorter than standard dining table height... not a good look, since they don't come up over the dining table. Be sure to measure your dining table to make sure that you're comfortable with the look.
