There is nothing supporting the seat except 1 inch tubing around the edge. I feel certain that these won't last more than a year. Since there is no interior support for the seat, I think it will stretch out or fail, especially in the hot summer weather of Arizona. I had such high hopes for these and they were the right size to sit at our hot tub bar top and the material matched other furniture. Additionally the foot rest is just metal wrapped in the wicker like plastic. I could see shoes rubbing it off quickly. Assembly was a bit time consuming for something so simple in appearance. I think these may be going back.
These chairs are made by Arbora Teak. They are probably not made of grade A teak, as the color is uneven. Nonetheless, they look pretty solid, and Overstock's price was good. The seat size seems a bit small. It is no more than 20 inches wide and 15 inches deep.
I was looking for a wood patio dining chair between 20-22 inches wide and the spec on this chair is 22 inches so I bought 4. Turns out the chair is close to 23 inches wide. Otherwise the chair seems to be good for the price.
