I really like the steam coming from the iron. Mu only complaint is that the mechanism(s) that make the iron so great are also the ones that weigh it down. It is a heavy iron.

I didn't even open the box this came in. I SPECIFICALLY searched for an iron that was manufactured in the USA. This claimed to be made in the U.S., but when the package came, there it was: MADE IN CHINA. I'm extremely disappointed that it was listed as made in the U.S. I wouldn't have bothered with it if I'd known it was made in China. I can buy a Chinese-made iron at a much lower price than this. The only reason I was willing to spend that much money for an iron was because I believed it to be American made. I'm returning the item.

  • Most amazing iron used in over40 years of ironing!

I wear ALOT of natural fibers, cotton, linen, etc. This iron does not leak, it has the ability to blast steam continuously and cuts ironing time by more than a half. Its weight allows for effortless quick ironing. I am sold!

  • Wanted to love it!
    Verified Purchase

I purchased this for my mother in law and she really wanted to love it. She is a tailor and she has had her experience with other professional irons but this one just ended up being a disappointment. The first disappointment was that it took only distilled water which wasn't that big of a deal and was something she could live with but it was the other things. She said it doesn't leave a nice crease on the pants like her previous irons and the other BIG complaint is that the button for Steam is right on the handle so you hit it all the time which isn't useful. The controls for temp are also on the handle so it really isn't user friendly since are often hitting buttons you did not intend to hit. The one thing she did like about the iron was that it offered the option to turn off the auto shut off. She is dealing with all these things but she wouldn't buy it again.

Worth the price. This is a great iron - generates a ton of steam at lower temperature levels.
