After making a couple of nail swaps, we were able to affix to wall with ease. You will need to add a panel if your wall is commercial grade with steel beams. We simply painted the extra panel to blend in with the desk.
You just never know about the quality of some wood products. But this desk is just wonderful! Easy to put together and the top of it has a steel smooth finish. The top is heavy, sturdy and very stylish.
Strong build and relatively expensive feel to it, for the price. Looks quite nice in a contemporary or modern setting. Assembly was straight-forward and low-intermediate in skill level. The black steel with the cherry wood looks quire nice together. Smudges show up easily, due to it being glass, but that's to be expected. I Haven't gotten any scratches on it, but just be wary of glass/metal cups or objects on the surface; use coasters or some kind of soft coverings for high use spots, just to be careful.
